About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Renewable Energy Project Manager to drive key initiatives within their growing portfolio, based in Birmingham . This role is crucial for overseeing the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from inception and feasibility studies through to construction and commissioning. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, contributing to the transition towards sustainable energy solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of renewable energy projects, including planning, procurement, and execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and contractors to facilitate project progress.
- Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with contract management and financial oversight of projects.
