About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to lead significant projects within the Sunderland region. You will be responsible for delivering complex projects on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful completion in accordance with client requirements, scope, budget, and schedule.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.
- Manage and coordinate all site activities, including construction operations, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a strong safety culture on site.
- Control project costs, track expenditures, and manage variations, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, stakeholders, and design teams, providing regular progress updates and resolving issues proactively.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Construction Project Management , demonstrating successful delivery of complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract administration, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with professional accreditation highly desirable.
