About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead a key development in Sunderland . This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage all phases of the construction lifecycle, from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, procurement, execution, and closeout.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure optimal project performance.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site activities, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.
- Implement and enforce rigorous health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and financial performance.
- Resolve any site issues, conflicts, or delays promptly and effectively to minimize impact on the project timeline.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in construction project management , with a demonstrated history of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building regulations, and project management software .
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in contract administration and risk management .
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
