About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned and strategic Lead Renewable Energy Project Manager to spearhead ambitious projects from concept to completion, working entirely remotely. This is a crucial role within their expanding renewable energy division, demanding exceptional leadership and a proven track record in delivering complex, large-scale projects. You will be at the forefront of developing sustainable energy infrastructure, coordinating diverse teams and stakeholders across various locations. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects , including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, consultants, and contractors, in a remote setting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental and safety regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage).
- Demonstrated success in managing projects with budgets exceeding £10 million.
- Expertise in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and collaboration tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, adapted for remote team management.
- Experience working within the UK and European energy markets.
