About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Remote Renewable Energy Project Manager to drive forward critical energy projects from anywhere in the UK. This role is pivotal in overseeing the entire lifecycle of renewable energy installations, from initial planning and feasibility studies through to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will collaborate with diverse teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, making a significant impact on the transition to sustainable energy sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, and successful delivery of renewable energy projects (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage).
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress against key milestones.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for potential new projects.
- Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant environmental, safety, and planning regulations. li>
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong focus on the renewable energy sector .
- Demonstrable track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with grid connection processes and permitting requirements.
