Overview As an Associate Project Manager in our Southampton/Basingstoke team, you will support a Project Director in delivering capital investment schemes across diverse sectors. You’ll act as the client-facing interface, coordinating stakeholders, schedules, and contracts to ensure timely, quality outcomes. You’ll mentor staff, contribute to business development, and help drive project success from option studies through to takeover. This role offers growth toward chartered status and the chance to shape impactful infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities - Client-side project management across lifecycle stages: stakeholder, schedule, and contract management
- Primary interface with clients to build strong relationships
- Lead and coordinate project management commissions for successful outcomes
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of PM outputs per timescales and standards
- Oversee sign-off of management information produced by the PM team
- Line management and mentoring of staff with training and development
- Participate in business development, including cross-selling opportunities
- Manage tender documents, appraisals, and negotiations
Key requirements - Relevant degree or professional qualification (ideally MRICS)
- Experience in a similar consultancy or relevant business
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts
- APM affiliation preferred (secondary accreditation)
