Overview In this role you will drive the delivery of a cutting-edge AI-driven antibody discovery platform within Abcam’s Danaher Affinity Reagents Autonomous Laboratory. You will coordinate timelines, resources and cross‑company collaboration to ensure fast, high‑quality results. You’ll enable smooth handoffs between teams and maintain strong governance and clear stakeholder updates. This role offers the chance to shape a data‑driven, automated platform at scale, contributing to breakthroughs in life sciences. You will work closely with senior leadership to turn ideas into tangible impact in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities - Build and maintain integrated project plans with milestones, dependencies and risks for an automated antibody discovery platform
- Drive predictable delivery across workstreams (automation & data, molecule design, production) and coordinate cross‑functional execution
- Align priorities, track progress, unblock issues and ensure clear handoffs so materials, methods, and data move smoothly through the pipeline
- Establish strong governance and communication through status reports, action/decision logs, and stakeholder updates to maintain speed without compromising quality
Key requirements - Project management qualifications with experience delivering complex scientific/technical programs to senior leadership
- Strong cross‑company coordination skills (vendors, partners, CROs) and ability to align priorities and drive decisions
- Excellent communication, judgement and discretion with confidential information and governance in a fast‑moving environment
- Desirable: experience in automated and/or AI‑enabled life science platforms, governance across senior stakeholders, and commercial delivery mechanics
