Overview In this Civil Project Manager role, you will own the day-to-day delivery of multiple civil projects across the UK, balancing technical delivery with commercial oversight. You’ll work within a growing multidisciplinary engineering business to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget outcomes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to resolve issues and keep projects aligned with specifications. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant ownership and impact on complex infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities - Oversee day-to-day delivery of multiple civil engineering projects
- Plan and manage project teams, resources, subcontractors and materials
- Monitor programmes, budgets, risks and variations
- Ensure technical delivery meets project scope, specifications and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with Design Manager to verify buildability and resolve technical queries
- Review quotations and tenders with Estimators for accuracy and feasibility
- Maintain financial control and identify project risks early
- Provide progress and performance reporting to senior management and stakeholders
- Attend Client Progress Team meetings and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Maintain HSE standards across project sites and ensure CDM compliance
- Communicate challenges, changes and risks clearly and proactively
Key requirements - Proven civil project delivery experience within utilities and/or infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering and construction methods
- Experience managing complex programmes, budgets and resources
- Leadership of project teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Strong commercial awareness including costs, variations and project risk
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations
- Client and stakeholder management capability
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management and reporting tools
