Overview In this role you will lead projects and programmes within Sheffield's Building Safety service to safeguard residents and ensure regulatory compliance. You’ll work cross-functionally with housing, asset management, compliance and repairs teams to deliver safety-focused improvements and assurance activities. You’ll manage scope, timelines, budgets and governance for complex, regulated initiatives. Responsibilities - Lead planning, delivery and monitoring of projects and programmes
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies and governance
- Coordinate with technical specialists, suppliers and contractors to deliver solutions
- Control project budgets and support value-for-money delivery
- Produce governance-ready reports, business cases and updates
- Build relationships with stakeholders to support successful delivery
- Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements
Key requirements - Proven track record delivering projects in complex environments
- Experience or knowledge in building safety, compliance, construction, asset management or related disciplines (advantageous)
- Ability to work with technical information and regulatory requirements
- Experience leading projects to meet time, cost and quality constraints
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing project risks, issues and dependencies
- Strong communication and reporting skills
