About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Renewable Energy Project Manager to spearhead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of critical renewable energy projects across the globe. Operating in a fully remote capacity, you will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial conception and feasibility studies through to construction, commissioning, and handover. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively coordinate diverse teams, stakeholders, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key part in advancing sustainable energy solutions from the comfort of your own home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end management of renewable energy projects , including solar, wind, and battery storage.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, remotely.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a significant focus on the renewable energy sector .
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, large-scale energy projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
