About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Solar Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of large-scale solar energy projects. This role is critical in managing all phases of project development, from initial site selection and permitting through to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Based in Bradford , this position requires a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of the solar industry, offering a significant opportunity to contribute to the growth of renewable energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects , from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) teams, and subcontractors.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues as they arise.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management , specifically within the renewable energy or solar industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple complex solar projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV technology , permitting processes, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
