About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead significant projects within the Energy Infrastructure sector from their Bradford base. This vital role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. You will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary teams, engaging with key stakeholders, and mitigating project risks. The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record in delivering large-scale energy projects, and a strategic mindset to drive project success in a challenging market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, resource allocation, and timelines for energy infrastructure projects.
- Manage and coordinate project teams, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental protocols throughout project execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, providing regular progress updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the energy or infrastructure sector.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is essential.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects with budgets exceeding £50 million.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
